WEBCAST INSTRUCTIONS
The APPF2007 event will be broadcasted over the Internet by using the ISL Groop webcast solution. Technical requirements for the ISL Groop client application is a PC running Windows XP, a headset with a microphone and a web camera.
For joining a webcast without the option of actively participating (transmitting audio and video), requirements are reduced to a working internet connection. All attendees except the speakers in the APPF2007 event will be of this type (Guest role). Guests will be able to post questions via the Questions&Answers queue.
We propose the following steps for successfully joining the webcast:
-
ISL team will create a permanent test session for the purpose of setting up the client application.
-
Email invitations will be distributed to all invitees (we advise a system administrator’s email is provided for each attendee)
- A client application should be installed on the PC, which will host the projection
-
Invitees will receive an email invitation, containing a link for the test session. After clicking this link, a page with details of the session should appear in the browser. Click on the ‘Run ISL Groop’ button and follow the instructions to install the client application. After a successful installation you will be asked for a nickname and your email address and you will be connected to the test session
- An ISL team member should be contacted to conduct a live test by using our Chat Live system
-
A live chat can be invoked by clicking on the Chat Live button in the top right corner of our website www.islgroop.com
-
Time zone difference can lead to a situation when there is no operator available. In that case you should leave a message to the ISL team
-
You will be assisted in using the client application to provide the optimum user experience for your audience during the event webcast
-
Audio and video settings will be adjusted in case you would experience any problems.
There is a detailed description of most details of the user interface available on www.islgroop.com.
