3. International Modeling Contest |
SDT Institute Sezana in cooperation with the Portal Community CeSDT, Section for Screen, Pad and Digital Print Slovenia, suported by FESPA, sponsors McNeel Europe - Rhinoceros software, Z Corporation, Materialise are holding a 3D modeling contest this year also for visual communication.
Current contest relates
to scooter tuning. Electric scooter is environment friendly vehicle and
alternative way of city transport.

The main goal is to introduce applicability of 3D technologies - of 3D
scanning, 3D modeling and 3D printing to a wider public through
creativity and knowledge of young people.

The Adriatic Print and Photo Forum 2007 is a two day international showcase and seminar for print and photo branches in countries of the Adriatic region and other countries of EU: Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands.
This years' event, which took place on November 14th and 15th at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering. During these two days the Slovenian capital has become the focal point of newest printing and photographic technologies.

Adriatic Print & Photo Forum 2007 pripeljal najnovejše tiskarske tehnologije v Slovenijo |

Ljubljana, 16. november – Mednarodni dogodek Adriatic Print & Photo Forum 2007 je 14. in 15.
|
Novembra slovensko prestolnico spremenil v središèe najnovejših tiskarskih in fotografskih tehnologij. Foruma se je v dveh dneh udeležilo veè kot 500 obiskovalcev iz Jadranske regije ter drugih evropskih držav. V ospredju dogodka so bile predstavitve najnovejših naprednih tehnologij v svetu tiska, pri èemer je gotovo najbolj navdušil Nicholas Hellmuth (organizacija FLAAR), ki je premierno predstavil zmogljivosti in prednosti digitalnega tiska na osnovi UV tiskarskih barv ('UV curable printing'). Tehnika omogoèa tiskanje, ki je še zanesljivejše kot uporaba solventnih barv, a brez kakršnegakoli zdravstvenega tveganja in obremenilnih posledic za okolje.

s seminarjev in razstava 3D natisnjenih modelov
Tudi to jesen so potekali brezplačni
seminarji na temo 3D skeniranja in 3D tiskanja, ki so se odvijali 2.
in 3. oktobra 2007 v Poslovni stavbi na Dunajski 106 v Ljubljani. Štirje
dvourni seminarji so bili namenjeni različnim strokam, tako je bil prvi
namenjen strojništvu, konstruiranju in livarstvu, drugi industrijskemu
oblikovanju. V sredo sta bila na sporedu seminarja na temo arhitekture,
urbanizma in geodezije (GIS) ter seminar na temo restavratorstva in
muzealstva.

Slovenian Print Forum 2007 |

On 18th
of April 2007 Slovenian Print Forum, named Printing of Future and Future of
Printing, which took at GRAF & PACK fair in Celje.
Slovenian Print Forum 2007, which reaped exceptional enthusiasm of
participants, will be written to history as first event that unite printers, professors
and students of printing area in such a great number. The new Printing guidelines were presented by various lecturers
from three different countries – Slovenia, Croatia and Belgium. The whole
project was fully supported by FESPA (The Federation of European
Screen Printers Associations).
