SDT Institute Sezana in cooperation with the Portal Community CeSDT, Section for Screen, Pad and Digital Print Slovenia, suported by FESPA, sponsors McNeel Europe - Rhinoceros software, Z Corporation, Materialise are holding a 3D modeling contest this year also for visual communication.
Current contest relates
to scooter tuning. Electric scooter is environment friendly vehicle and
alternative way of city transport.

The main goal is to introduce applicability of 3D technologies - of 3D
scanning, 3D modeling and 3D printing to a wider public through
creativity and knowledge of young people.

The Adriatic Print and Photo Forum 2007 is a two day international showcase and seminar for print and photo branches in countries of the Adriatic region and other countries of EU: Slovenia, Austria, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Czech Republic, Germany, Netherlands.
This years' event, which took place on November 14th and 15th at the Faculty of Natural Sciences and Engineering. During these two days the Slovenian capital has become the focal point of newest printing and photographic technologies.

The Adriatic Print and Photo Forum 2007,
an international showcase of Print and Photography innovations and
technologies will take place on November 14th and 15th at the Faculty
of Natural Sciences and Engineering in Ljubljana.
This two-day get together of printers and photographers from the
Adriatic region will be marked by lectures by internationally
established experts, including keynotes by Nicholas Hellmuth, the founder of FLAAR organization (www.flaar.org), and sessions by acknowledged names from the European print federation FESPA (www.fespa.com). Beside this world level lectures you will also be able to stand witness to presentations of cutting edge technologies of 3D Photography and 3D Print, and get acquainted with the FESPA Sensations book.
The Adriatic Print Forum is an amazing opportunity for
educational institutions and enterprises to meet and set common goals.
The event will be visited by students of graphic related faculties from

Nashua, NH; February 19, 2007 -- WhatTheyThink.com, a leading
online publication serving the printing and publishing industry, has
announced the acquisition of Electronic Publishing. The
purchase triples WhatTheyThink.com's subscriber base from 15,000 to
over 45,000 subscribers. Terms of the purchase were not disclosed.
Electronic Publishing, a 30-year old publication owned by
PennWell Corp., provides design, printing, and publishing professionals
with authoritative information on technology, products, and trends. In
2006, PennWell eliminated the printed edition of Electronic Publishing to focus on the digital distribution of content via the website, webcasts, and email newsletters. Electronic Publishing is well known for analyzing new directions in prepress and printing products and business technology.
