The 3D Student Contest 2007 this year named “Let's make it in 3D!” arouses public interest from different design and production branches. We were enthusiastic of the participation shown for the 2nd category where the jury have a hard job to decide which of the 20 models author deserve the first place. Professional jury committee consisted of 10 experts in technically and artistically supported fields. For the first category making a copy of an authorial artistic composition in a 3D program with a 3D scanned element we received only one work of the author Diane Blumen Košak from the University Of Ljubljana, Faculty Of Architecture; which was placed 1st and wins her 3D printed model which will be presented at the fair 3D Print Forum 2007 at FESPA 2007 Berlin.
The contest was divided in two categories: 1st CATEGORY: “Making of an authorial artistic composition in a 3D program with a 3D scanned element”

Every awarded and praised model will receive their own 3D printed 3D model (average value of a single model cost up to approximately € 500). Every awarded and praised model will be exhibited at the FESPA fair in Berlin, from 5th to 9th of June 2007. Author of winning 3D model selected by FESPA Berlin 2007 visitors will receive a cheque for 3D colour printed model in value of 2.000 €. After the fair we will raffle one of the visitors who will vote for his opinion best model and he will receive a small 3D printed model.Author of the model from 1st category and authors of the best three 3D models from 2nd category will receive their own 3D printed 3D model (average value of a single model cost up to approximately € 500). All the models in the competition and their descriptions are visible in our gallery . Judging The anonymous voting for the best models of the 2nd category was made considering the pre-establish criteria like:
